Biography
Alayna grew up in Norwood, MA, and played youth hockey for the Norwood Nuggets. She moved to Rocky River, Ohio, (now my hometown) and played for the Rocky River Pirates youth team. She then transitioned to girl’s hockey and played for the U14 Cleveland Lady Barons. In 2018, Alayna made the USA Hockey Player Development Camp in St. Cloud, MN. Alayna attended and played on Gilmour Academy’s Girls Prep Team, and in 2022 made it to Elite 8 at USA Hockey Nationals. Currently, she attends and plays for Elmira College in the New England Hockey Conference. In 2023-24, Alayna earned NEHC player of the week, won the NEHC hockey conference, and the team made it to the NCAA DIII Championship game (Frozen Four) and was also named assistant captain in sophomore year season.
