Coaching
The true difference lies within our staff – they make the difference. With over 85 years of cumulative experience to draw from we provide our athletes with every ounce of knowledge, experience, and passion we have. Our staff consists of current and former Professional, Collegiate, and Junior players, who have all come through the various ranks of Cleveland Hockey and are committed to making our athlete’s goals and needs their number 1 priority!

The Ohio Hockey Project is more than just a training program. It’s a movement to elevate Cleveland hockey, bringing high-level development, education, and unforgettable hockey experiences to local players.
From day one, our mission has been to level up the standard of skill development in the Cleveland area and dedicate ourselves fully to making a lasting impact on the hockey community we love.
Our educational process maximizes our time away from the ice, where we enrich our athlete’s life skills. We discuss critical topics such as: Nutrition, Goal Setting, Attitude, Work Ethic, Preparation, Performance Training, and Injury Prevention. Our FUN delivery and overall process instills confidence and passion in all our athletes.

We never lose sight of our mission to positively influence the athletes we work with. We put our athletes in a challenging, motivating, extremely positive environment that help them to grow and enjoy their process of development.
We're deeply passionate about the game, and there's truly nothing more fulfilling than helping young players chase their hockey dreams, just like we did! Whether you're lacing up skates for the first time or competing at the NHL level (literally), we have a program and a path designed with you in mind.
Our journey began with our very first program in 2008, and in 2011, we officially incorporated. In 2015, after retiring from professional hockey, our founder, Russ Sinkewich, committed full-time to making Ohio Hockey Project his life’s work.
