Biography
Walker grew up in Avon, Ohio, and has played most of my youth career in the Cleveland/Columbus area playing for the Barons and Ohio AAA Blue Jackets. He played Junior Hockey in New Jersey with the Hitmen and then committed to play at the United States Air Force Academy. After two years at the Academy and an Atlantic Hockey Championship, he decided it wasn’t for him and decided to play closer to home at Niagara University where he spent 3 years and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Sports Management. Walker then went on to play 2 professional seasons in the German Oberliga in Landsberg and Lindau, Bavaria, Germany. Walker is still playing professional hockey while spending his summers here at the Ohio Hockey Project where he specializes in team/individual skills lessons and helps with coaching and mentoring.
